In some countries, companies allow people to work from home. In other countries, people are still expected to work in an office. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Companies in different nations mandate their own mode of work for their employees. Many employers support working from home while other firms expect their staff to be present at the office. Though all work modes have their own merits, I believe that the implementation of a hybrid system could integrate the positives in both.

Organizations in those countries that support working from home have dual benefits for both company and employees. Many big firms have their offices in metropolitan cities, and it would cost companies a hefty amount for their staffs’ conveniences. Work from home not only saves company spendings on labor amenities, but also provides ample time for staff to be with their families. Many western countries that introduced this model of work during covid asked companies to continue the same after recognizing the benefits.

Working from the office is preferred in many countries for its high productivity.  Employees who work at the office experience more rapport and this has positively impacted the results. The nation also gets benefited when its companies bring in more revenue. For instance, many American companies like Google have apprehended the merits of staffs working at offices and encourage the same by redesigning the company spaces to resemble a home.

In conclusion, companies of various nations recommend their staff to work either from their homes or in offices after evaluating if the possible gains align with their policies.  In my opinion, even though both the modes are accompanied by tangible benefits, I propose the adoption of a combination of both modes to encompass all their merits.
